The owner of this property, a downsizer seeking a stylish and adaptable apartment, envisioned a home with flexible planning.
The clientʼs vision was to have the ability to separate the kitchen from the living area when needed, while also ensuring the home office could be opened up to the living space and stunning views or enclosed for privacy when hosting visitors.
The Main Idea
A Stylish Apartment with Adaptable Spaces and Elegant Design
To meet the brief, we created a flexible layout with three key areas; the kitchen, living space, and home office – that can be combined or separated as needed. We incorporated large sliding doors and perforated sliding panels to enable this versatility.
The kitchen, a central feature of the design, was expanded to include a stunning island, making it an entertainerʼs dream. The space is both practical and elegant, perfectly suited for hosting and daily use.
The kitchenʼs color palette, inspired by warm whites and greys from the callacatta porcelain top, is complemented by timber flooring that adds inviting warmth. Beautiful curtains and thoughtfully selected furniture complete the look, enhancing both comfort and character.
